I drew an earlier version of this on my Deviantart site, but I decided I could do better, if I could.
I was inspired by a cherub/putto/amorino statue I saw in someone’s front yard in the snow. It made me think about the pandemic and the general insanity we are all facing in modern life.

I know this is a little early, but I couldn’t resist. I based it on a cast iron “doggie bank” from early 20th century, that’s located on a shelf in our kitchen. I just thought it would be a neat idea for a holiday picture.
This is based on a drawing I did on Panel Jam, my niece loved it and wanted to me to print it out. I decided to draw another picture based on it, for sort of a holiday picture.
Happy New Year! I spent several days trying to get this, the way I wanted it. It took me quite a while. Hopefully, I will post more artwork on this site in 2014! Keep your fingers crossed!
This drawing is based on a Roseville pattern, “Pine Cone” from 1935.
